Woo Hoo!! I found 2 infant socks, a dime and a penny, lint, plus pieces of the broken baffels from inside the drum.
Instead of trying to “pop off” the drain from the rubber mounts, I used a length of vacuum seal food bag (seal-a-meal) and made a funnel and attached that to the drain with a rubber band, and that drained into a bucket. There was a load of wet clothes in the washer, so I ended up with about 4 gallons of water to drain out.
I love being able to fix it without calling a repairman…
